Samsung Galaxy S III Mini Officially Revealed

For all those Samsung enthusiasts, here is news that might possibly keep your feet off the ground. A mini version of the Samsung galaxy SIII has been revealed last October 10 and ready to be feasted on. But the question that is being posed right now is, does it hold up to its name? Considering the success of the Galaxy SIII, one would really have high expectations for this device.

Word on the street is that this new device has come to be unacceptably simplistic version of the Galaxy SIII. On the other hand, the comment of JK Shin (the company head) implicitly contradicts it. Let’s have a better look on this device by checking out its specs. This smartphone runs with an Android 4.1, the so-called Jelly Bean, operating system which features a dual-core 1Ghz CPU. Also included are a 1Gb RAM, a 16 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 32GB through microSD, a Li-ion battery with 1500 mAh capacity.

Going furher, it also has a 4-inch AMOLED screen which comes in a WVGA resolution. It has a 5mp camera which offers features such as Auto focus, Digital zoom, Flash (LED), Contact pictures, and for recording 720p videos. The device is also equipped with a front camera that best suits video-chat enthusiasts. Other specs include an 802.11a b, g, n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, GLONASS and NFC. And to add up, this device support networks such as HSPA 900, 1900, 2100 as well as EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900.

Surely patrons would have a hand of this device pretty much soon as there are no definite details yet about its price and availability. And the device being a mini version of its predecessor, it would for sure come in a cheaper price. For those smartphone buffs who would likely settle with the smaller bulk, Samsung Galaxy SIII would be definitely something to grab hold of.
